8° (215×137 mm.), cc.14 + cc.284. Contemporary binding in full vellum with gold title of label on spine. Anchor aldine at title page and at the end, guide letters. Notes on boards. Warmfores on some letters at the first three leale. A few foxing, repairs at the outer margin on 98 paper. Good conditions.

First aldine edition of Plauto Comedies. In the initial letters of Francesco Torresano, editor of work, he said that the edition of Plauto is based on the texts corrected by Aldo Manuzio and Erasmo. The work includes a index of the verbs used, the topycs and the life of Author. Are 21 the Commedies attribuites to Plauto and only eight were in circulation at the time of Petrarca.
